Privacy

Your data. Also yours.

The same principle as everything else we build: what's yours stays yours. Here's exactly what we collect and what we do with it, in plain language, because a privacy policy you can't read protects nobody.

01

What we collect

When you request a website review or contact us, we ask for your company name, your name, email address, phone number (optional), website, sector and anything you write in the notes field. That's it. We don't buy data about you, and we don't collect anything you didn't type in yourself.

02

Why we collect it

One reason: to run the review you asked for and reply to you. The legal basis is the steps you asked us to take before entering a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (art. 6(1)(f)).

03

Who sees your data

Form submissions reach us by email through our email provider and are stored in our inbox and administration. We don't sell, rent or share your data with anyone. If we use a processor (email delivery, hosting), it's bound by a data processing agreement.

04

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your language preference (NL/EN) in localStorage, and it never leaves your device. If we add analytics later, we'll update this page first.

05

How long we keep it

If you become a client: for as long as we work together, plus what Dutch tax law requires us to retain. If you don't: we delete review requests within 12 months.

06

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@leadlayer.studio and we'll handle it within 30 days. You can also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch data protection authority) if you think we've handled your data badly.
